For the best accuracy

  • Keep the QNode app open while checking its location.
  • Wait for the tracker’s blue light to become solid.

Accuracy may be reduced around

  • Indoor areas
  • Tall buildings
  • Heavy tree coverage
  • Parking garages
  • Tunnels and enclosed structures

  • Charge QNode before the battery reaches 0%.
  • Turn off the Find Light when it is not needed.
  • Avoid leaving the tracker completely discharged.
  • Charge QNode before long walks, trips, or travel.
05

IP67 water resistance

QNode is built for normal outdoor conditions, but it should not be treated as a swimming device.

QNode can handle

  • Rain
  • Snow
  • Mud
  • Splashes and puddles
  • Accidental fresh-water submersion up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes

Avoid

  • Swimming with the tracker
  • Salt water
  • Long periods underwater
  • High-pressure water
  • Charging the tracker while it is wet

If QNode gets wet, dry the tracker and charging contacts completely before connecting the charger.

Troubleshooting

Start with the issue that best matches what you are seeing.

My pet’s location is not updating
  1. Keep the QNode app open and watch your pet’s location on the map for 1–3 minutes.
  2. Check the tracker’s blue light. A flashing blue light means it is searching for GPS. Wait for it to become solid.
  3. Move the tracker outdoors or to an open area with a clear view of the sky.
  4. Make sure your phone has a strong internet connection.
  5. Monitor the yellow and blue lights and compare them with the light guide above to check the tracker’s connection status.
My QNode will not turn on
  • Connect QNode to the magnetic charger.
  • Let it charge for at least 30 minutes.
  • Press and hold the silver power button until the lights turn on.
  • Check that the charging cable is properly aligned with the charging contacts.
The app says my tracker is offline
  • Make sure the tracker has battery.
  • Confirm that the tracker is turned on.
  • Move it to an area with better cellular coverage.
  • Check the yellow light for its network status.
  • Confirm that the QNode subscription is active.
The location appears inaccurate

QNode can work indoors, but walls and other structures can reduce GPS accuracy. Move the tracker outside and wait for the blue light to become solid before checking the location again.
