How To Use QNode

Getting Started

Step 1: Scan your QNode’s QR code

Setting Up Your QNode

Step 2: A welcome screen will appear

Tap "Get Started" if you don’t have an account
Tap "I Already Have an Account" if you’re logging in

After Logging In

Step 3: Sign up or log in to your account
Once you're logged in, your QNode will automatically link to your account and prompt you to set up your pet’s profile.

Setup Complete!

Manage your QNodes in the QNode app or in the web version

Lost Mode

Lost Mode lets you control when your private contact information is shown to others.

When ON, your phone numbers, email addresses, home address and all your default pet info will be visible to the person who scans your pet’s QNode. Makes it perfect for helping you find your pet quickly.

When OFF, only the default pet info is shown. But don't worry, location sharing remains active at all times, so you’ll still receive their location even if its off.

This gives you peace of mind knowing you're in control — you can share your details only when you choose.

Scanning QNode

Lost Mode Off

If someone scans QNode while having Lost Mode off, they will only see your pets default information.

Default Information Shown:

- Profile photo
- Pet’s name, breed, age, sex, weight
- Notes

Lost Mode On

If someone scans QNode while having Lost Mode on, they will see:

- Phone numbers

- Email addresses

- Home addresses

- Default information

To Contact You: They can simply tap any phone number, email, or address on the profile screen.

Viewing Pet info

1. Go to the QNodes tab

2. Select the pet you want to view

- Toggle Lost Mode on/off as needed

- Tap “Scan History” to view where your pet has been found

Editing Pet Info

- Tap the top-right edit button to update pet info

Adding QNodes

- Displays all your registered QNodes (1 pet per QNode)

- Add a new QNode by tapping the "+" icon in the top right

- Or press the "Register QNode" button with the blue plus icon
